Armed robbery suspect captured in Lexington

Lexington County officials arrested Sean Larmont Stroman, 24, of Columbia, on charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and three counts of kidnapping. Those charges are related to at least one other armed robbery incident in Lexington County, according to LCSO officials.

The Greenwood Police Department has one woman in custody and is searching for another male suspect in connection with a reported armed robbery of a local credit union. GPD has not released the names of the suspects at this time.

He remained in retail as a merchandiser of various products up until his health decline.

Residents of the Town of Ninety Six will begin paying fire fees to Greenwood County after the two governing bodies approved a memorandum of understanding for the Town of Ninety Six Fire Department to become part of the county-wide fire service. Ninety Six Town Council previously passed the MOU and Greenwood County Council unanimously approved the MOU during Tuesday's regular meeting.
