A Ninety Six man arrested last week after he reportedly threw a rabbit against a wall, forcing the animal to be put down, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly punched his live-in girlfriend numerous times. Phillip Claiborne Gettys, 42, of 103 Hicks Court, Ninety Six, has been charged with first degree domestic violence in connection with the incident.
